FIRE PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE

DKY Fire Pressure Relief Valves are produced in sizes between ND 50mm and 350mm. The valve having unique design maintains constant / stable pressure whenever needed automatically regardless of pressure changes at outlet of pump.

The DRF 80FP is pressure relief valve combines a unique design and simplicity into a fire protection systems. This hydraulic valve is diaphragm operated, pilot controlled and regardless of flow demand it maintains a constant pressure of the fire-extinguishing network.

The valve maintains the system running at a stable, required pressure with opening and relieving excess of flow and pressure to the atmosphere when the system pressure rises above preset level.

The DRF 80 FP features “no-spring” diaphragm and controlled by a 2-way, spring-loaded pilot valve to ensure maximum accuracy of the line pressure and fast reaction.

Operation

The RAF 80FP is normally installed on-line in a Tee configuration, after the fire pump and before the system’s check valve. As line pressure exceeds the set point, It shall relief excess flow and pressure to the sump maintaining the desired system’s preset pressure.

The Raf 80 FP maintains fully open, relieving 100% of the pump’s flow capacity  when demand of the fire system drops to a minimum level. then the check valve closes, isolating the lines from the pump. The pump shuts off safely, avoiding the risk of a surge. Then the relief valve comes to closing position slowly.

FIRE PRESSURE REDUCING VALVE

DKY produces Fire Pressure Relief Valves ranging from 50mm to 350mm diameter. This valve having unique design keeps pressure constant on adjusted value in static position or during flow.

The RAF 60FP is pressure reducing valve with a unique and simple design.

The DRF 60FP is a diaphragm operated, pilot controlled hydraulic valve to maintain a constant downstream pressure on the fire-extinguishing network, regardless of flow demand. Whenever the system pressure tends to rise above preset level, the valve throttles further and reduces the excess pressure to the required set value at a stable regulation.

The DRF 60FP features “no-spring” diaphragm and controlled by a 2-way, spring-loaded pilot valve to ensure maximum accuracy of the line pressure and fast reaction.

Operation

The DRF 60FP is normally installed parallel type for each layer on main collector or series type on the entry of each control zone in-line, after the fire pump and system’s check valve.

As line pressure exceeds the set point, it shall reduce the pumped pressure to the system’s preset line pressure.

DRF 60FP automatically maintains the outlet “set pressure”  constant  regardless of fluctuations in the higher pressure inlet line or varying flow rate or it seperates to different pressure zones in entry and outlet of valve in static position (no flow) with coming closed position.

Valve immediately responds the demand at sprink side of Fire Control System (outlet of Control Valve) and regulates the pressure at set pressure.
